Job Title: Ab Initio Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and dynamic Ab Initio Developer to join our innovative team in Charlotte, NC . If you're passionate about cutting-edge ETL technology and enjoy solving complex challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Ab Initio software , including the Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Enterprise Metadata Environment (EME) . You'll be working with advanced data processing techniques, APIs, and large-scale databases in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Proven Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio software, including:
• Graphical Development Environment (GDE)
• Enterprise Metadata Environment (EME)
• ETL & Data Integration Mastery:
• Strong background in reading and creating JSON and XML files for seamless ETL processes
• In-depth experience with MFS (Multifile System) for efficient and scalable data processing
• Proficiency in working with APIs, including integrating Kafka and Webservices endpoints, and managing message queues
• Database & Tool Proficiency:
• 5+ years of working experience with databases like Oracle, MongoDB, Teradata
• Expertise with tools such as:
• Toad
• MongoDB Compass
• Teradata SQL Assistant
• Job Scheduling Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-level job schedulers like Autosys, Control Center, and Control-M
• Version Control & Collaboration:
• Experience using version control systems like GitHub and Ab Initio EME to ensure smooth development and deployment cycles
• Scripting & OS Mastery:
• Proficient in Shell Scripting, SQL, PL/SQL for robust data processing and automation
• Strong understanding of UNIX, Windows, and Linux OS with hands-on experience in Perl and UNIX scripting
• Additional Skills & Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus to adapt quickly to evolving business needs
• Bonus: Domain knowledge in areas such as:
• Banking/Core Banking and Digital Channel Technologies (Email technologies, Mail Encryption, Secure Email, Secure Inbox, SMS, PUSH)
• Credit Cards , Health Care , and Life Sciences industries
