ERT is a cornerstone of the highly mature Executive Protection Services (EPS) program, established in 1995. Now in its 30th year, EPS continues to grow, innovate, and adapt to meet evolving executive security requirements and client emerging risk— most recently with expansion of permanent ERT operations to the client’s Silicon Valley Campus in Mountain View, CA.
ERT teams are responsible for the safety and security of designated client executives and board members, executive spaces, and other areas designated for temporary executive use, as well as related executive protection, advance agent, and security driving duties as assigned. ERT personnel assigned to SVC are expected to fulfill cross-functional support requirements of the wider EPS program, including—but not limited to—interface and coordination with client and supplier risk and intelligence offices, executive assistants and chiefs of staff, the Executive Security Operations Center (ESOC), and uniformed campus security officers, as well as production of written reports and risk assessments, executive mail screening, and other duties as required. ERT is expected to respond swiftly, appropriately, and skillfully to all known and perceived threats—up to and including the use of reasonable and necessary lethal or non-lethal means in defense of client designees.
