Press Apprentice 2nd Shift

Position Summary: 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2 AM

We're seeking a hands-on team member to support production operations in a print-focused manufacturing setting. This role is designed as a developmental opportunity, providing training and experience with the potential to grow into an advanced technical position.

Role Focus:

This position involves assisting equipment operators with production prep, clean-up tasks, and material handling. It’s ideal for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key Functions:

• Help maintain clean and well-stocked production areas
• Support with loading paper and organizing supplies for upcoming runs
• Learn directly from senior staff and respond to feedback with a focus on improvement
• Participate in job prep and staging to ensure readiness and efficiency
• Follow direction closely and support the overall pace of the workflow

What You Should Bring:

• Willingness to learn and grow into a technical role
• Basic understanding of equipment or mechanical processes is helpful
• Able to read and understand work instructions and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Able to work collaboratively with various roles across departments
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and maneuvering heavy materials with assistive tools
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach as part of regular tasks
• Visual accuracy and manual dexterity are essential
• Comfortable working around moving equipment and fast-paced operations
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements is necessary
