Job Description

About Us:

We’re an award-winning luxury interior design studio (18 years in business, 25 design awards and counting!) known for timeless, sophisticated spaces and a strong mentorship culture. Our team is passionate about delivering excellence in every detail—while supporting each other’s growth as designers.

We’re seeking an Associate Designer —someone who is above junior level but not yet a fully autonomous designer. This role is ideal for a design professional who is eager to learn, values collaboration, and thrives in a process-driven, luxury studio environment. If you want to grow under experienced leadership while contributing your creative skills, this could be your next step.

Responsibilities:

🎨 Design Development Support

  • Assist with space planning, elevations, and concept boards
  • Support in sourcing FF&E (furniture, finishes, fixtures, lighting, art) aligned with the studio’s luxury aesthetic
  • Prepare presentation materials, selection sheets, and design decks for client meetings
  • Maintain project binders, sample libraries, and material boards
  • Contribute design ideas within the studio’s brand framework
  • Experience with hard finish design & selection (Kitchen and Bath) a plus

📐 Project Execution

  • Draft in Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp as needed - 2D & 3D
  • Willingness to learn visual AI tools as they come to market
  • Assist with specifications, RFIs, and vendor communication under guidance of senior staff
  • Prepare install documents: furniture plans, art/accessory schedules, and styling guides
  • Assist with RFQ’s and budget projection support supporting project manager
  • Be present at installations to support the lead designer and ensure the details shine

🤝 Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with Principal and Project Manager, absorbing firm processes and best practices
  • Take feedback with professionalism and apply it toward growth
  • Participate in design presentations as skill demonstrates to support Principal or more independently
  • Contribute to a positive, mentorship-driven team culture

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of interior design experience (internships count)
  • Proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Canva/PowerPoint, Photoshop) required
  • Strong eye for luxury design aesthetics and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written a must)
  • Team-oriented with eagerness to learn and follow a proven design process
  • Degree in Interior Design, or, Certification Program with field experience
  • Highly detailed and organized

Location & Schedule

  • Our studio is based in Yardley, PA (13 minutes from Princeton, NJ / 35 miles from Philadelphia)
  • This is a primarily in-person role with one remote workday per week
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday with 1 remote day/week

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $52,000–$65,000 annually (based on experience)
  • Bonus opportunities for contributions to firm success

Why Join Us?

At our boutique studio, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to high-end residential projects, mentorship from award-winning leadership, and a clear growth path in your design career. We don’t just create beautiful spaces—we invest in developing designers who are excited to grow into their full potential.
