Associate Producer

Location: Austin, TX (On-site)
Travel: Domestic & International — covering shoots, events, and campaigns

About the Role

As Associate Producer at Random Golf Club, you’ll play an essential role in the day-to-day execution of RGC’s content creation from pre-production to post-production by supporting shoots, managing equipment, coordinating logistics, supporting editors, and ensuring everything is in place for a smooth production process. You’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the content team to bring the stories to life. You will travel a lot, both domestically and internationally - especially during golf season.

We’re looking for someone organized, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in production (professionally or not), enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, and want to contribute to making Random Golf Club the most impactful golf media brand in the world, this role is a great fit.

Attitude and the ability and willingness to learn is as important as prior experience for this position.

What You’ll Do

Pre-Production

  • Pre-production logistics - including scheduling, creating call sheets, travel coordination, and location prep.

  • Support story ideation by researching topics, gathering references, and participating in concept meetings.

Production

  • Assist with camera operation and field production, primarily using Sony systems.

  • Manage and organize gear before, during, and after shoots; ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready to go.

  • Coordinate logistics on set, including crew meals, transportation, and day-of scheduling.

  • Capture behind-the-scenes and supplemental content for social and marketing use.

  • Support branded shoots by assisting with deliverables, sponsor requirements, and general production needs.

Post-Production

  • Collaborate with editors by organizing media, transferring files, and maintaining project documentation.

  • Assist in archiving , cataloging, and maintaining the RGC content library.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong understanding of content: YouTube (especially the golf space), Instagram, and TikTok

  • Familiarity with the production process, from pre-production through post.

  • Hands-on experience supporting shoots: scheduling, logistics, equipment prep, and on-set coordination.

  • Comfort working with cameras and production gear (Sony systems a plus).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing gear, files, expenses, and media.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop preferred) with a willingness to learn more.

  • Ability to research and contribute to story development, and participate in creative brainstorms.

  • Effective communicator who can collaborate with producers, editors, and freelance crew.

  • Flexible, resourceful, and reliable in fast-paced production environments.

  • Enthusiasm for golf culture and curiosity to learn more.

Bonus points if you’ve:

  • Assisted in branded or sponsored content productions.

  • Captured behind-the-scenes or social-first content.

  • Experience with media management, archiving, or content library upkeep.

  • Worked on YouTube or social-first projects.
