Buyer Job Summary
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Starting Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
This is an on-site position. Not remote. Full-time, permanent position
Responsibilities:
· Lead purchasing effort for an electronics manufacturer
· Strong Material Requirements Planning (MRP) skills
· Forecast demand and execute purchasing requirements
· Assist with Inventory management
· Negotiate pricing and demand forecast
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably for an electronics manufacturer
· Electromechanical purchasing experience preferred (buying sheet metal, machined & electrical components)
· Strong Microsoft Excel experience required, Microsoft AX or comparable ERP / MRP software program (Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred
· Detail oriented, collaborative, highly organized with ability to multi-task
· Mostly domestic sourcing, some international
