Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you create eye-catching decorations and ensure each cake is a masterpiece.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertly decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity to meet customer requests.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide personalized cake designs for events.
• Maintain a clean workspace and uphold food safety standards in all decorating practices.
• Assist in the baking process and preparation of other baked goods as necessary.
• Manage inventory of decorating supplies and communicate needs to the bakery management.
• Keep abreast of new trends in cake decorating to enhance skills and offer fresh ideas to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is advantageous.
• Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Strong artistic flair and creativity in cake design.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed.
