Certified Medical Assistant

Full-Time | Khatib Family Practice | Bullhead City, Arizona

Responsibilities

Clinical:

• Record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
• Process lab specimens (e.g., urine, iFob, skin biopsies)
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures

Administrative:

• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are well-stocked
• Schedule appointments and coordinate specialist referrals
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

Required:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
