Job Title : Certified Nurse's Aide

Location : Powers, Michigan

Shift Type : Varied

Shift Times : 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Part-time)

Weekend Requirements : As needed, Holiday rotation required as needed

On Call Requirements : Client agreement terms apply

Hourly Range : $18.60 - $24.50

Salary Range : $38,688 - $50,960

Bonus :

• $300 per month attendance bonus
• $50 for picking up a 4-hour shift
• $100 for picking up an 8-hour shift
• NO MANDATION! Earn an additional $12.50 per hour for every shift picked up

Special Notes :

• Facility has a resident cat and dog onsite
• Must have reliable transportation, as ride share is unavailable in this area
• Must be comfortable driving in snow and ice conditions

Job Summary :

As a Certified Nurse's Aide, you will provide compassionate care to residents by assisting with daily living activities such as serving meals, feeding residents, and ensuring proper hygiene. You will document care, assist with personal hygiene, and provide comfort by addressing resident needs. You will collaborate with nursing staff to ensure the well-being of residents while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and mobility
• Provide resident comfort, including repositioning, ambulating, and transporting
• Document care provided, ensuring proper communication with nursing supervisors
• Follow state and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Safely transfer residents using equipment such as Maxi and Sara lifts
• Offer nourishment and fluids and ensure a safe, comfortable environment
• Assist in preparing residents for medical procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Qualifications :

• CNA Certificate - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• 1 year of experience in long-term care (LTC) - Preferred
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be able to lift, transfer, and position residents, including pushing a wheelchair with assistance
• Must cope with mental and emotional stress related to working with elderly, ill, or disabled individuals
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent interpersonal skills
