Summary

The main focuses of a CNC Programmer / Architectural Millwork Engineer are taking finalized millwork shop drawings and creating manufacturing documents and programs for production. These include CNC & Saw programs, “as built drawings,” 3d renderings, detailed instructions, paneling lay outs, veneer matching layouts, construction jigs, and any other items that aid manufacturing of custom architectural woodwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create machinery (CNC & Panel Saw) programs and any other relevant manufacturing documents for custom millwork and casework using AutoCAD, Microvellum, and Innergy software.
• Ensure “As-Built drawings” matches construction plan
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure design intent and project goals are met.
• Ensure project schedules, deadlines, and budgets are met.
• Communicate with the manufacturing team to ensure that production requirements are clearly understood.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s engineering standards.
• And other duties / responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the company

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Four (4) year degree from college or technical school; OR four (4) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microvellum is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in architectural millwork drafting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Extensive knowledge of using, configuring, and managing software systems, such as INNERGY, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam
