Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CADD Technician (Digital Design Specialist) to join the digital design team at a top engineering client. This role involves generating and maintaining BIM models, coordinating across disciplines, and producing high-quality documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and is comfortable navigating complex design software. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape communities locally and globally. Day to Day - Work under the supervision of an Architect, Engineer, or other technical professional to support a specific discipline - Generate and maintain BIM elements based on project scope and LOD outlined in the DDP - Accurately model BIM elements within spatial constraints using current 3D software - Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams aligned with project scope, schedule, and budget - Maintain discipline models including project data, coordinates, orientations, match-lines, views, and sheets - Produce discipline-specific documentation with precise annotations - Monitor and improve model health and ensure adherence to company standards - Coordinate with other discipline models through design reviews and 3D coordination processes Assist with or execute additional digital delivery requirements as needed The compensation for this role ranges from $22/hr to $24/hr depending on skillset, education, and years of experience.
