Job Description-Construction Safety Coordinator

Ensure compliance with safety programs, client requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., EM 385-1-1).
Assist the superintendent in managing safety plans, emergency protocols, and safety systems.
Participate in safety and quality processes, including hazard analysis reviews and inspections.
Conduct routine safety audits and maintain accurate documentation.
Support regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) and incident response, including investigations and claims reporting.
Monitor safety performance across all teams and subcontractors.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Safety emphasis preferred).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Minimum 2 years of field experience on large commercial projects ($50M+).
Proficiency in Excel, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite.

Preferred Skills

Compensation (direct-hire): $70,000-78,000 base salary
