Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs, making adjustments as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including school administrators, architects, and engineers.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably with a focus on educational facilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
