The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move analysts and associates from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.

Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) offers strategic insight and financial solutions for businesses, organizations, municipalities and nonprofits throughout the United States and internationally. The Investment Banking Capital Markets track provides a broad exposure to various business units within C&IB, structured development on-the-job and formal classroom learning including an intensive 8-week credit training program designed to establish PNC’s core competencies. Analysts possess strong problem-solving ability, interest in mastering complex products, a strong work ethic and a highly competitive nature.
The Investment Banking Capital Markets track includes the following business segments:
Investment Banking Analyst: Asset Backed Finance, Debt Capital Markets, and Public Finance Capital Markets

The Investment Banking Capital Markets track is an engaging 2-3 year experience especially designed to equip you with the foundational and transferable skills that will enable you to navigate a successful career in banking. Capital Markets analysts master PNC’s product set to excel in analytics, credit, relationship management, sales and financial modeling.

Geographic flexibility is important to your success in this program. Locations may include: Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; and Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

COMPENSATION
Base Salary - $39,100 - 126,500
Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and may vary by geographic location and/or market data.

Job Profile :
Participates as an analyst/associate in the line of business development program.
Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, or process support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
Participates in formal learning (e.g., classroom, web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.

Required Education and Experience :
Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences).
Minimum GPA 3.2.

Licenses Public Finance & Healthcare - SIE, Series 52 & 63 (79 optional) within 180 days of employment. Asset Backed Finance - SIE, 7, 79 and 63 within 180 days of employment. DCM (Loan Syndications & Equipment Finance) – SIE, Series 79, Series 7, and 63 within 120 days of employment. Derivatives – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment. FIG – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment. Fixed Income – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment. Foreign Exchange – SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 120 days of employment. Fixed Income (Tax-Exempt): Municipal Trading and Underwriting – SIE, Series 52 and 63 (or Series 7, if taken prior to 11/7/2011, is acceptable in lieu of Series 52) within 90 days of employment. Municipal Sales – SIE, Series 7 or 52, and 63 within 90 days of employment. ESOP - SIE, 63 and 79 within 120 days of employment. Other appropriate licenses (e.g. supervisory licenses) may be required at the discretion of the manager.
