Role: Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Columbus, Ohio(Hybrid))

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications such as CISSP , CCSP , CEH , or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with hands-on exposure to the specified technologies.
Expertise in Cisco Umbrella, Secure Web Gateways, and SSL decryption configurations.
Proficient in vulnerability management tools and Cloud Security Posture Management solutions.
Hands-on experience with Google Security Suite , including SIEM and SOAR tools.

Knowledgeable about KnowBe4 or similar security awareness training platforms.
Strong understanding of best practices in threat intelligence, automation, and incident response.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, and PCI DSS.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Proactive approach to learning and staying current on emerging cybersecurity trends.
May require occasional on-call availability for incident response.
Hybrid/remote work options are available depending on organizational policies
