About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise and experience working with NetSuite, merchant accounts, and payment gateways such as Stripe and Shopify. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of automating reports and dashboards in Excel while handling data transformation tasks across multiple systems. Familiarity with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) and ETL processes is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate is:

• A self-starter that is looking to implement and improve existing Company processes
• Someone with documented achievements in developing automated, efficient and scalable Finance processes flexible enough to support a fast-paced environment.
• Someone with Advanced Excel/GSheet, accounting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from NetSuite, merchant accounts (Stripe, Shopify), and other sources
• Build and maintain automated Excel dashboards and reports using advanced formulas, macros, and VBA as needed
• Write complex SQL queries for reporting and data analysis across financial and transactional systems
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to support reporting needs and business intelligence tools
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and e-commerce teams to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze transaction-level data across payment gateways, identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
• Provide data support and insights to enhance operational efficiency and financial reporting
• Utilize NSAW (NetSuite Analytics Warehouse) to develop dashboards and custom reporting solutions
• Develop BI tools to support financial and operational KPI reporting
• Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance or other STEM field required, MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Highly organized and ability to work on multiple projects at once
• High level of analytical ability and accuracy with ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Continuous Process Improvement
• Experience with NetSuite, particularly NSAW (NetSuite Analytics Warehouse)
• Familiarity with merchant accounts and gateways such as Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Suite, GSheets and Microsoft Excel. Spreadsheet skills with particular focus on analytics and reporting through the use of advanced features (Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, VBA, Arrays, Lookups, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ETL tools/processes and integrating data from multiple sources
• Ability to automate and scale manual reporting tasks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce or fintech environment
• Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx, Power Query)
• Familiarity with other ERP or BI tools
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
