What You’ll Do:


Responsible for focusing on understanding, interpreting, and explaining data using multiple approaches and mediums. These responsibilities materialize through organizing data for formal and informal presentation/delivery across all teams and functions of the organization. The DR Analyst builds an understanding and translates clinical and administrative processes into intuitive/actionable datasets via written code or creative combination of existing assets. This requires the ability to determine and document requirements while using their experience to offer suggestions and potential direction for the analysis or presentation of the results. As a service-focused individual the DR Analyst is personable and eager to assist internal/external team members whenever the opportunity is present.


Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Design, build, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards working from specification and/or direct interaction with business users.
  • Build and maintain formal and adhoc reports that support grants and state agencies for quality and other programs.
  • Complete complex, detailed data analysis including identifying and interpreting trends and results to assist business users and leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Perform adhoc and formal data extraction/analysis using TSQL within the Data Warehouse.
  • Perform adhoc and formal analysis using Slicer Dicer or Clarity within EPIC.
  • Informs and follows procedures and established norms in building report/dashboard resources.
  • Perform data quality analysis in support of business functions and data governance initiatives.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and designs scalable solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Informatics, Finance, Business, or related field required
  • More than three years proven experience developing data and report solutions in a healthcare setting required
  • More than two years proven experience working with PowerBI or similar business intelligence platform required


Preferred:

  • Experience working with healthcare data and the related privacy and security standards preferred
  • Current EPIC Certification – Report Writer - Clarity / Caboodle preferred
  • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred

Total Rewards


The typical hiring range for this position is $63,731 to $76,482 annually, based on relevant years of experience.
