Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Data Center Technician **Location:** Cheyenne, WY **Pay Range:** $25 - $32/hour on W2 based on skill level & experience **Shift:** Day & Night Shifts available **What's the Job?** + Prepare, stage, set up, and perform **startups and shutdowns of IT equipment** , following specific instructions and safety protocols. + Conduct **post-execution quality checks** to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling. + Diagnose and **troubleshoot hardware issues** , quickly identifying causes and performing **break-fix repairs** on faulty components. + **Decommission hardware** for system refreshes, including **memory upgrades and OS rebuilds** . + Monitor systems for **equipment failures or errors** and respond to program error messages effectively. **What's Needed?** + **Computer Science majors** OR **CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications** . + **Experience as a Data Center Technician** , with **hardware break-fix responsibilities** . + **Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles** . + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. + Basic knowledge of **computer hardware, servers, and components** . + 1 - 5 years of experience supporting **IT equipment** or related technology. + Basic understanding of **Microsoft Office applications** (Outlook, Excel, Word). + Flexibility to work **non-standard business hours** , including weekends and/or holidays. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in **a dynamic and innovative environment** . + Gain **hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology** . + Collaborate with **a diverse team of professionals** . + Enhance your **technical skills and advance your career** .
