Role Description

We’re looking for a part-time senior-level Social Media Marketing Manager to lead and own our end-to-end social presence. You’ll define the strategy, create content, grow our following by 10x+, and drive deep engagement that turns followers into advocates for hospitality.

This is not an “ideas only” role. You’ll be doing the work, owning the performance, and building something lasting alongside the founder.

What you'll be doing

  • Build and own the entire social strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok
  • Create original, high-performing content (Reels, carousels, stories, memes, quote graphics, case studies, testimonials—you get it)
  • Run a tight content calendar that aligns with launches, partnerships, events, and product updates
    • Grow our audience by 10x in 12 months—with a mix of organic strategy, trend-jacking, and authentic storytelling
    • Write scroll-stopping copy, punchy hooks, and bold CTAs
    • Manage scheduling, repurposing, and publishing (ideally through Ocoya or a similar AI-enhanced stack)
    • Monitor performance, test formats, and iterate based on data weekly
  • Collaborate with our community team, product team, and founder to create alignment
  • Be the voice of the brand and the eyes on the street —you’ll know what’s working, what’s coming, and what to try next

Qualifications

  • >3 years of experience in social media, growth marketing, or brand content
  • Experience in a startup or creator-led environment—you’ve worn a few hats
  • Proven track record growing an account from thousands to tens or hundreds of thousands of followers
    • Deep understanding of Instagram, Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn content ecosystems
    • Expertise with tools like Canva, Hotjar, Figma, CapCut, Meta Suite, and analytics dashboards
    • Fluent in hooks , tim in g, eng ag ement psychology, and commu nity building
    • Experience using AI tools like Ocoya, Press Ranger
    • Strong writing chops—voice, tone, and pacing are part of your toolkit
    • Bonus: Background in hospitality, tech, DTC, or community-driven brands
