Dining Server Position - 32hours / week

Begin your career caring for residents as a member of the dining services team! Fairmount Homes in Ephrata is hiring Dining Servers! Join a fun, team environment! Fairmount is hiring a dining server who wants to learn to cook in our skilled and personal care residential areas.

Position: Dining Server, 32 hours / week

Hours: 6am - 2pm and 11am - 7pm; including every other weekend holiday rotation 

Starting Pay: $16.85 - 18.20 per hour, plus +$1 evenings, +$1.25 weekends

This position is responsible for assisting the Wheat Ridge cooks in the preparation and service of quality food, while complying with sanitation and safety regulations. 

Qualifications of Dining Server:

• Must have basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practices.
• Personal hygiene and dress must conform with required standards.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.
• Must support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes.  

Essential Duties of Dining Server:

• Ensure residents receive diets as ordered. 
• Deliver hot foods, cold foods, and liquids, to specified locations for each meal.
• Checks, records, and report refrigerator and freezer temperatures in service kitchens.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in work areas in accordance with facility standards.
• Work with nursing team members to serve meals in Healthcare and Personal Care. 
• Assist Cooks with portioning cold food items.
• Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies between meals. 
• Assist at dishwasher with collecting, washing, unloading, and storing dishes following each meal.
• Assist with receiving and inventory as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned and as required by facility needs

Compensation details: 16.85-18.2 Hourly Wage
