Job Title: Domestic Couple and/or Full-Time Housekeeper (Full-Time)
Location: Long Island, NY (North Hills area) & The Hamptons, NY
Salary: $180,000 – $200,000 per year or 80K-100K+ for the Housekeeper (DOE)
Benefits: Full health insurance, 3 weeks PTO, potential bonus

Ideal Candidates:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Domestic Couple to care for a private family’s residences in Long Island (North Hills area) and the Hamptons. The husband will primarily be based in the Hamptons, overseeing full housekeeping, light cooking/meal prep, property maintenance and household management, while the wife will be based in the Long Island residence, responsible for full housekeeping, meal prep/cooking, and household management/inventory and caring for fine clothing. The couple should be experienced in working in a private home, proactive, and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across both properties. They must be flexible and capable of stepping in as needed to ensure seamless household operations.

The family seeks a long-term commitment and values a couple who can work efficiently to manage their two properties. Both candidates should be proactive, organized, and willing to help each other when necessary to maintain the family’s lifestyle and ensure smooth operations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Full housekeeping duties, including managing laundry, organizing, and maintaining a 3-bedroom residence.
• Care for designer clothing and ensuring all clothing and items are kept in top condition.
• Light cooking, primarily breakfast and lunch, with occasional dinner
• Managing household inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Keeping the home organized and ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standard.

If a couple position:

Husband's Role (Hamptons):

• Overseeing the maintenance and daily operations of the family’s Hamptons residence.
• Full housekeeping
• Meal prep/Cooking
• Managing contractors and maintenance staff as necessary.
• Ensuring the home is always in top condition and overseeing all property repairs.
• Handling small repair jobs, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with outside vendors.
• Ensuring that everything from lighting to heating systems is functioning smoothly.

Wife's Role (Long Island):

• Full housekeeping duties, including managing laundry, organizing, and maintaining the Long Island residence.
• Care for designer clothing and ensuring all items are kept in pristine condition.
• Light cooking and meal prep (breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinner parties).
• Household management including managing household inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Keeping the home organized, tidy, and performing daily cleaning of all living areas.

Both individuals should be able to provide occasional assistance to each other and support the other property as necessary, depending on the family’s needs.

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (4-5 weekdays), 8-10 hour days, around 6/7:00 AM – 3-4:00 PM
• Experience: 5+ years working in private households, experience as a domestic couple is required
• References: Minimum of 2-3 professional references for each individual
• Background: Must pass background checks and drug testing
• Personality Traits: Organized, proactive, flexible, hands-on, and attentive to detail
• Languages: Fluent in English

Position Compensation:

• Salary: $180,000 – $200,000 per year for the couple (DOE)
• Living Accommodations: Live-out, although travel to properties is required
• Vacation: 3 weeks PTO
• Health: Full health coverage for both
• Bonus: Potential for additional bonuses based on performance
