Job Description

Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced  Echo Sonograph Technician to support the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System This is an excellent opportunity to serve veterans while working in a professional and supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out medical cardiology functions with certified Medical ECHO Sonographer.
• Perform Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies.
• Perform calculation methods for the delivery of prescribed dose, and subsequent documentation in patient files, and verification of the mathematical accuracy of all calculations using a system established by the Contractor’s Echo Sonographers.
• Notify COR of incidents and submit to the COR the Patient Safety Report, following up with COR as required or requested.

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the American registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Must be technically proficient. 
• Read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must have current certifications in CME/CEU, ARDMS, and BLS.
• Must meet all VA educational requirements and mandatory course requirements once hired.
• Oblige by OSHA regulations when hired.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in is required.
