**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and strategic E-commerce Director to lead our online sales and digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving e-commerce growth, optimizing user experience, and leveraging data to inform strategic decisions. The E-commerce Director will oversee all aspects of our online business, from website management to digital marketing campaigns, and collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective strategies.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
* Lead, mentor, and manage the e-commerce team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Oversee the management and optimization of the company’s e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
* Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
* Utilize data analytics and insights to drive decision-making and optimize e-commerce performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
* Enhance the online customer experience through personalized marketing, customer segmentation, and effective user interface design.
* Collaborate with the product and inventory teams to ensure the right product mix, pricing strategies, and inventory levels are maintained.
* Establish KPIs, monitor e-commerce performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including payment processors, logistics partners, and digital marketing agencies.
* Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the online shopping experience and drive innovation.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Proficient in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), digital marketing tools, and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
* Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision making.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
* Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
