Environmental Solid Waste Engineer
Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplined Engineering firm. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Environmental Solid Waste Engineer to join this Northern New England firm. Hybrid opportunities throughout NH, ME, or VT.

Environmental Solid Waste Engineer Position Summary :
The preferred candidate will have relevant design and permitting experience on solid waste management projects including transfer stations, recycling facilities, lined landfills, and landfill closures. Candidates should be interested in a variety of project types and be able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, which requires communications with all levels of staff as well as clients and contractors.
Environmental Solid Waste Engineer Qualifications :
BS Civil Engineering (MS preferred), Environmental Engineering, or related field
5+ years of professional experience in design and permitting solid waste management projects
Project management/coordination experience
Effective written and verbal skills
Relevant experience in civil design and modeling using AutoCAD Civil3D, stormwater programs including Autodesk's Storm and Sanitary Analysis or HydroCAD
Environmental Solid Waste Engineer Required Certificates/Licenses:
Licensure as a Professional Engineer or the ability to attain a license in the surrounding states within 6 months of hire.
