What You'll Actually Do:

• Advise private equity and hedge funds on ERISA compliance for fund formation and complex transactions
• Work directly with clients on credit agreements, structured finance products, and alternative investments
• Draft comment letters on proposed DOL regulations that will shape the industry
• Provide real-time ERISA counsel on live deals—your analysis drives whether transactions move forward
• Build expertise across private funds, financial products, and plan sponsor matters (not just one narrow lane)

What You Bring:

• 1-4 years of experience (ERISA background helpful but not required—they'll train analytical thinkers)
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills (you'll be drafting client memos and regulatory comments, not just reviewing forms)
• Meticulous attention to detail without losing sight of business objectives
• JD from 2021-2024; strong academic credentials
• Bar admission in DC or Illinois (or ability to waive in)
