💼 Full-Time | Starting Salary: $55,000/year

Miami Arts Charter School is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly organized ESE Teacher to join our student support team for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about making meaningful, individualized connections with students and supporting their academic and personal growth.

Established in 2009, Miami Arts Charter School is located in the heart of Miami’s dynamic Wynwood Arts District and serves students in grades 6–12. As a Florida Public Charter School, all instruction aligns with Florida State Standards and upholds a commitment to both academic and artistic excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with IEPs in inclusion, resource, and/or small group settings
• Monitor and Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction
• The ESE Teacher will NOT be writing or developing IEPs. They will only be responsible for instruction.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) OR Statement of Eligibility
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and best practices in special education
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs
• A passion for equity, advocacy, and helping students reach their full potential
