Job Description
We are excited to invite a passionate and skilled ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher to join our dedicated educational team. This remote position provides the opportunity to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and support their growth in mastering the English language.
Position Overview
As a remote ESL teacher, you will play a key role in designing and delivering engaging online lessons that cater to the diverse needs of English language learners in grades K-12. You will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure students thrive in their language development while excelling in their academic journey across all subject areas.
Key Responsibilities
Create and deliver dynamic, online ESL lessons that align with state standards and district curriculum
Regularly assess and track student progress in English language acquisition
Develop individualized learning plans tailored to each student's proficiency level
Keep detailed records of student progress, achievements, and areas for growth
Collaborate virtually with classroom teachers and support staff to enhance students' learning experiences
Communicate effectively and regularly with students' families to share progress and set goals
Engage in online professional development opportunities and team meetings to continuously improve teaching practices
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
Valid teaching license in Massachusetts with ESL/ELL endorsement
At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL in a school setting
Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and educational technology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with diverse student populations and fostering inclusive learning environments
