General Manager (or Director of Operations) — Urgent Hire

Overview

Our client, a leading hospitality group, is seeking a dynamic General Manager (or Director of Operations) to oversee an ultra-refined standalone restaurant and nightlife venue in Miami. This flagship property blends elevated dining, innovative mixology, and world-class nightlife programming, creating a one-of-a-kind guest experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operations, including service, finance, marketing, and entertainment programming
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences from dinner through late-night activations
• Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance development
• Oversee vendor relations, quality control, and operational standards
• Drive financial performance through precise P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Partner with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and curate high-impact events
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers, promoters, and influencers within the Miami hospitality and nightlife scene

Requirements

• Proven success as a Senior General Manager or Director of Operations in high-end standalone restaurant or nightlife venues in Miami
• In-depth knowledge of Miami’s luxury F&B and nightlife market
• Strong financial management skills, including P&L oversight and reporting
• Demonstrated experience in marketing and brand growth, particularly in nightlife/dining fusion concepts
• Established network of hospitality professionals, promoters, and influencers in Miami

Compensation

• Base salary: USD $110k (negotiable for exceptional candidates)
• Clear growth path toward the Director of Operations role within the hospitality group
