The General Manager of The Global Ambassador must be an accomplished and emotionally intelligent leader with a hospitality mindset rooted in intention, excellence and innovation. Polished yet grounded, this leader must inspire confidence in guests, team, ownership and community partners alike. They are both a strategic operator and an intuitive host—equally at ease in a boardroom as they are in the lobby. They must have the ability to cultivate a performance-driven culture while maintaining a focus on humanity - leading with purpose. A passion for thoughtful service and an unwavering attention to detail will define their style. The right individual will embrace the unique opportunity to shape the next chapter of luxury hospitality while contributing to the evolution of a brand still in its early, defining years.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the property’s chief leader, responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations including team performance,

guest experience, financial management, food and beverage, events, wellness and membership.

• Lead and mentor a Senior Leadership Team that reflects the hotel’s culture of excellence, service, and innovation.

unique personality and promise of The Global Ambassador.

• Champion a guest-first culture that prioritizes emotional connection, personalization and lasting impressions.

• Own and manage the full annual budget and forecasting process, driving revenue performance, profitability and cost

control across all departments.

• Provide clear strategic leadership in evaluating hotel performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring

long-term brand success.

• Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining a high standard of professionalism,

equity and integrity across the organization.

• Build and protect a strong workplace culture that reflects the values of Author & Edit - taking care of the people who take

care of the people.

The General Manager will bring emotional intelligence, operational precision and the ability to lead with both vision and heart. They will be expected to serve as a cultural compass for the hotel and a trusted partner to the leadership team, while also maintaining the humility and hospitality that define The Global Ambassador experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the luxury hospitality space, with at least 3–4 years as a

General Manager or equivalent leadership role.

• A successful track record managing complex, high-touch operations including multiple outlets and amenities.

• Deep knowledge of the Forbes Travel Guide standards.

• A strong grasp of emerging trends in modern luxury, wellness and culinary experiences.

• A proven ability to inspire and develop diverse, high-performing teams.

• Confidence in public-facing leadership roles, with demonstrated success in community engagement and stakeholder

relationship building.

• A strategic mindset and financial fluency that drives sustainable business results.

• A hospitality philosophy that values authenticity, emotion and experience over formality or formula.
