As a Government Account Manager at Vertosoft, you will be responsible for supporting an innovative portfolio of technology solutions in driving growth across federal, state, and local government. You’ll work closely with suppliers, partners, and customers to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes. This role requires more than just sales skills—it demands grit, curiosity, and a consultative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage a portfolio of technology suppliers, focusing on delivering go-to market impact while developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to craft tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Execute multi-faceted go-to-market strategies with precision and adaptability.
  • Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate our supplier’s value proposition
  • Effectively build and maintain
  • Maintain a deep understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare thoroughly for customer engagements, demonstrating professionalism and insight.
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, government sales, or technology sales.
  • Experience selling or working at a technology company, value-added reseller, or distributor as an Inside Sales Representative.
  • Familiarity with federal and SLED procurement vehicles (e.g., GSA, SEWP, Co-Ops, etc.).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
