RoomSales is a cutting-edge marketplace specializing in hotel bookings designed for businesses seeking to reserve blocks of rooms. We are rapidly expanding our network and currently partner with hotels in Woodbury, Plymouth, Eagan, and Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

Position Overview:

We are looking for motivated and results-driven Hospitality Sales Representatives to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. Reporting to the Vice President of Hospitality Sales, this role focuses on connecting businesses with our partnered hotels and driving sales of room blocks for corporate events, conferences, and other group needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development:
• Identify and prospect local businesses and organizations with group room booking needs.
• Build relationships with decision-makers in industries such as corporate events, travel agencies, and convention organizers.
• Present RoomSales as the premier solution for bulk hotel room bookings.
• Sales Execution:
• Actively sell room blocks for RoomSales partner hotels, ensuring a tailored approach to meet client needs.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through strategic planning and effective client engagement.
• Coordinate with partner hotels to secure availability and special offers for clients.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for businesses throughout the sales cycle.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and delivering a seamless booking experience.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the VP of Hospitality Sales to refine sales strategies and share insights from the field.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative efforts to enhance overall sales effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in B2B sales, hospitality sales, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Familiarity with the Minneapolis–Saint Paul business community and/or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor, managing your own schedule and priorities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools is preferred.

Compensation:

This is a 1099 contract position offering competitive, uncapped commission-based compensation with significant earning potential based on performance.
