Job Description

Summary:

HVAC Project Engineer responsible for independently supporting Project Managers in the design and execution of HVAC projects. Leads project scoping, preliminary design, schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments while managing multiple projects up to $5M. Acts as the primary engineering liaison, ensures design quality, schedule, and cost control, and collaborates with Facilities and leadership for design approval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC project scoping, preliminary design, schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments
• Serve as primary point of contact for HVAC engineering design issues
• Monitor engineering schedules and costs; lead scope and design review meetings
• Support bidding process and evaluate contractor proposals
• Provide HVAC and BAS design expertise and operational troubleshooting support
• Update HVAC and BAS standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of HVAC engineering experience
• Strong project management, multitasking, and communication skills
