Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Manufacturing Information Systems Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about applying coding, database, and application development skills to real-world manufacturing environments. You will support and enhance digital systems that enable data-driven decision making, process automation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve applications that support manufacturing processes and information systems.
- Design, query, and manage databases to ensure accurate, accessible, and secure production data.
- Collaborate with engineers, IT, and production teams to understand system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Create dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations to support performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and database issues.
- Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies, programming languages, and manufacturing system platforms.
- Support system integration efforts between ERP, MES, PLCs, and other manufacturing technologies.
- Document system configurations, coding standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Coding ability in languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with web application development or visualization tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within the manufacturing technology space.
