This position is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for employees who can satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. About the location – Instructional Design, Evaluations and Learning Management Systems is responsible for developing training and curricula for CDCR programs and academies, serving as the liaison between the Office of Legal Affairs and the Commission on Correctional Peace Officer Standards and Training (CPOST), evaluating departmental training and program initiatives, and integrating, adapting, and automating new technology into departmental training programs.
The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
