Job Description

***This is a full-time in-office position in our Piscataway, NJ location.***

Overview

As an IT Support Specialist at Humanscale, you will combine your robust technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills to assist our global internal user base. This role offers a stimulating environment for early to mid-career professionals proficient in technologies like Office 365, printing, and various security tools. This is a full time in-office position.

Essential Functions

Maintain Information Technology systems and provide end user support:

  • Provide on-site support to ensure continuity of computer systems for all users.
  • Install selected software and hardware products.
  • Repair hardware, e.g., desk phones, desktop computers, laptops, and printers.
  • Configure user security accounts and new system builds.
  • Perform virus prevention, detection, and removal.
  • Troubleshoot and correct wired and wireless network issues
  • Maintain WAN & LAN switches and routers
  • Respond to and resolve various Service Desk requests

Document and Design:

  • Build and manage internal documentation
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, conference calls and planning
  • Evaluate technologies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Meets physical demands of the position including the ability to lift, push and pull up to 45 pounds; ability to bend, stoop and stretch as required for placement and retrieval of materials or equipment on shelving.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience within Information Technology
  • Microsoft MCSA, A+ certification a plus

Strong knowledge of the following technologies:

  • Active Directory
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • LAN and WAN networks
  • Dell desktop and laptop computers
  • Configure user security accounts and new system builds
  • Research solutions to hardware and software issues
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

Salary Range: $54,901 -$80,079
