Position Overview:

A Journeyman Electrician is a skilled professional responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks in commercial settings. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical equipment, wiring, installation, and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building rules and regulations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems efficiently. This position may involve working on new construction projects, as well as renovations of existing commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial buildings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and develop solutions.
• Follow building rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, wiring, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with commercial maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of building rules and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
