Lab Technician (12+ Month W2 Contract, No C2C) – Fremont, CA

Our client is seeking a lab technician for a 12+ month contract in Fremont, CA. This is a fully onsite role, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.

Pay: Starting at $50k/year based on experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis using FTIR, ICP-MS, XRF, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and gravimetric analysis.
• Prepare and test samples, interpret data, and report findings.
• Manage testing timelines and communicate any delays.
• Maintain lab supplies, cleanliness, and compliance with EH&S and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Biosafety, and Operations).

Requirements

• 3+ years of lab experience, preferably in chemistry.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
