Legal Administrative Assistant (Healthcare/Public Policy)

70,000 - 90,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced legal administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of h ealthcare/public policy law and procedures, as well as excellent administrative and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys and paralegals with all aspects of h ealthcare/public policy and litigation cases, including:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as petitions, schedules, and orders
- Conducting legal research
- Communicating with clients, creditors, and the courts
- Managing case files and deadlines
Provide administrative support to the h ealthcare/public policy team, including:
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails
- Scheduling appointments and meetings
- Managing calendars and deadlines
- Preparing and maintaining files
Perform other legal and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a h ealthcare/public policy Legal Administrative Assistant or in a related role
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
