Mission:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage order processing, warehouse operations, and transportation logistics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries across all commercial channels, maintaining inventory accuracy, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Order Management & Customer Service

• Process incoming orders across all channels via our ERP system
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders and inventory
• Ensure compliance with routing and vendor guidelines
• Resolve discrepancies promptly and maintain accurate ERP records
• Provide cross-functional support to teams including Accounting, Retail, Sales, and E-commerce
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Monitor activities at of the 3PL warehouse
• Guide warehouse staff on priorities and ensure timely execution
• Allocate inventory to sales orders (by lot code when required)
• Monitor inventory levels, best-by dates, and manage replenishment
• Ensure accurate receiving and reconciliation of inbound inventory

Transportation Coordination

• Assign optimal carriers and shipping modes (parcel, LTL, truckload, reefer/dry)
• Submit routings via customer portals or templates
• Negotiate spot rates with carriers when needed

Performance & Process Improvement

• Ensure timely, accurate flow of information across systems and teams
• Develop and track KPIs to proactively address service issues
• Maintain clear, up-to-date logistics procedures and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience (food industry and 3PL oversight a plus)
• Proficient in ERP and CRM systems (D365 preferred); strong Excel skills
• Customer service experience in a B2B environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Authorized to work in the US
• Passion for chocolate and gelato is a plus!
