Position Overview

The Manager of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of US Roofing Systems, ensuring the company's financial health and supporting its strategic goals. This role requires a highly skilled financial professional with extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, capable of driving financial performance and guiding the company through growth and change.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning

• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
• Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management

• Manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
• Oversee treasury functions, including investment management and debt financing.
• Develop strategies to optimize working capital and improve cash conversion cycles.

Risk Management and Compliance

• Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.

Cost Management and Efficiency

• Analyze and control operating costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Implement cost management initiatives to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Systems and Processes

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
• Ensure financial processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial operations.

Strategic Initiatives and Projects

• Support strategic initiatives and projects, providing financial analysis and insights.
• Contribute to the development and execution of business growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in the roofing or construction industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with Sage 300 preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
