Job Title: Managing Director / General Manager

Location: Miami

Reports to: Ownership Group / Board of Directors

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and service-driven Managing Director/General

Manager to lead operations at our prestigious luxury residential apartment building. This

individual will be responsible for delivering an exceptional living experience to our residents

while overseeing all aspects of property management, staff leadership, financial performance,

and resident engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the building, ensuring all functions (concierge, maintenance,

security, housekeeping, amenities) meet the highest standards of luxury service.

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence,
  • professionalism, and personalized service.
  • Establish operational policies and procedures aligned with luxury standards and resident

expectations.

Resident Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, proactively managing communications, requests, concerns, and feedback.
  • Develop resident programs and exclusive experiences to build community and elevate

satisfaction.

  • Maintain strong resident retention through personalized service and high-touch relationship management.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage the building's annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify revenue-enhancing opportunities.
  • Oversee billing, collections, vendor negotiations, and service contracts to ensure fiscal

responsibility.

Facilities and Property Management

  • Ensure the building’s physical assets (residences, common areas, amenities) are

impeccably maintained.

  • Supervise capital improvement projects and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and best

practices.

Strategic Planning and Reporting

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to enhance property value

and resident satisfaction.

  • Provide regular operational reports and updates to ownership, including financial summaries, resident feedback, and risk management assessments.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in luxury property management, hospitality, private residential clubs, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence, team leadership, and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of building operations, maintenance systems, and resident service delivery.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPM, ARM, or CAM) are a plus.
