Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Network Security Administrator to join our team. This mid-level role focuses on managing network security operations, handling alert management, implementing security solutions, and maintaining secure network access. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and ClearPass configurations, along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alert Management: Monitor and respond to network security alerts, escalating issues as needed.
• Implementing Solutions: Assist in designing and implementing network security solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
• Palo Alto Configurations: Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, ensuring proper security settings.
• ClearPass Management: Perform updates and make configuration changes to ClearPass systems.
• Network Access Control (NAC): Enforce network access policies and troubleshoot related issues.
• Cybersecurity Support: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to improve threat detection and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in network security or a related role.
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with ClearPass configurations and changes.
  • Basic understanding of network access control (NAC) and cybersecurity practices.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of network security principles and protocols.
  • Ability to monitor and manage security alerts.
  • Problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Preferred Certifications (Optional):
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA)
  • Aruba Certified ClearPass Associate (ACCA)
  • Entry-level or mid-level cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
