Night Shift Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating shifts

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support facility operations by ensuring production equipment, warehouse systems, and building utilities remain in safe, reliable working order. This role requires strong electrical expertise and the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and replace equipment and components to minimize downtime.
• Respond to production priorities and collaborate with operators on troubleshooting efforts.
• Complete work orders promptly and maintain accurate records of parts and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and lubrication on machines.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and escalate to leadership when necessary.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked work area, following 5S and safety standards.
• Partner with managers on equipment upgrades, modifications, and testing for new processes.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and working with 12 VDC–480 VAC systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and relay-based logic.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and HVAC knowledge with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Computer proficiency for managing work orders and referencing manuals.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of equipment improvements and problem resolution.
• Vocational/technical training or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and visually inspect equipment.
