Job Description

Valley Children's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic is one of the leading pediatric cancer facilities on the West Coast, offers specialized services for a wide range of cancer diagnoses. As the sole provider of pediatric oncology services between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, we see approximately 40 outpatient visits daily and bring a wealth of experience and expertise to each patient we treat.

The Cancer and Blood Disorders Center consistently ranks in the top 5 to 8 percent globally in patient enrollments for the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the world’s largest organization focused on childhood and adolescent cancer research.

The dedicated team conducts a wide range of treatments, from chemotherapy and immune suppressant medication to laser therapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow aspiration and biopsies, lumbar punctures, chemotherapy administration in the cerebrospinal fluid, and radiation.

The outpatient unit houses treatment rooms, an infusion center, and playroom, all designed for family centered care. Among our patients, approximately 45% are diagnosed with leukemia and lymphoma, while the rest include solid tumor, neuro-oncology, histiocytosis, and vascular malformation cases.
