Overview:

Banquet Server – On-Call

InterContinental Bellevue is looking for Banquet Servers (On-Call) who are passionate about creating truly memorable experiences for our guests, have strong interpersonal skills, and a knack for handling high-volume situations. This position reports to our Banquet Manager. 

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:

• Serving guest needs by providing knowledge of menu items, and information on how it as prepared.
• Transporting menu items to guest tables in a timely fashion, serving food, drinks, coffee, water, and other items in accordance with our standards.
• Set up, break down, clean up tables, drink stations etc.
• Work professionally and in harmony with fellow associates.
• Keeping track of and communication guest orders, including allergies, special requests etc. to the kitchen as required.
• Anticipate guest needs, offer suggestions, problem solve, and quickly address and respond accordingly to guest concerns.
• Monitor banquet areas to ensure that spaces are presentable.

Qualifications:

What we need from you:

• 2-4 years of food service experience, preferably Banquet service.
• Experience in a luxury venue with synchronized service.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Previous pre-opening experience preferred, but not required.
• Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate customer needs.

The compensation for this position is $20.00/hour.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
