Position Summary

We are seeking Mechanically Trained Operators (MTOs) to join a fast-paced production environment in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The MTO plays a vital role in operating and maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all production lines. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust high-speed packaging and production machinery.
• Perform minor mechanical maintenance, including clearing jams, tightening fasteners, and replacing belts or seals.
• Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and cleaning to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance staff for complex repairs.
• Accurately log production, maintenance, and downtime data.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
• Adhere to OSHA, GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards to maintain a safe and compliant workspace.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work culture.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and calipers.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (gears, bearings, sprockets).
• Ability to troubleshoot and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training in industrial mechanics.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience using CMMS or production reporting systems.

Location & Employment Type

• Location: Oak Creek, WI 53154
• Schedule: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Monday–Friday
• Training: 2-week training on 1st shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) with potential extension if required.
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $24.90 – $27.90 per hour (includes $3.00/hr 3rd shift premium)
• Annual Incentive Bonus: Eligible starting December 2025 (5% of base; based on company, department, and individual performance).
• Overtime opportunities are limited; weekend work only when required.
