Job Description

Join our client, a medical higher education association, as a part-time Administrative Coordinator. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the application services team and managing a financial program offering fee waivers for dental school applicants. This temporary position runs from April 1th and will be for 3 months based in our client's downtown DC office. Work two days a week with flexible scheduling options on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. This may be an ideal opportunity for graduate students looking for part-time employment!

Schedule and Timeline

  • Work onsite 2 days a week (T, W, or Th), Total: 14 hrs/week
  • Start April 1
  • Term – three months

Requirements

  • Three years of experience with database management (for reference, we use Smartsheet, Jotform and Knowledgebase)
  • Knowledge of data storage and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, commitment to protecting sensitive information
  • Ability to weigh various factors and make well-reasoned decisions

Responsibilities

  • Respond to applicant emails and send update emails to subsets of applicants
  • Review applicants’ personal financial information via an online application and make final fee waiver decisions
  • Maintain an accurate FAP database (Jotform, Smartsheet)
  • Send regular reports to supervisor and technology partner
