* MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ABOUT

Ed Martin Automotive Group is looking to add Parts Department Managers to our growing team! Ideal candidates will have prior experience leading Parts teams in a retail setting; dealership experience is not required but is highly beneficial. This role is responsible for overall department performance and the coaching and development of other Parts Department associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Parts Department operations
  • Establish out of stock strategy - we want to eliminate customer disappointment whenever possible and ensuring we have the appropriate SKUs in stock is critical to being successful with this
  • Ensure Parts Department personnel are adequately trained and prepared to handle customer concerns, issues and other processes
  • Ensure department profitability - not missing out on sales due to inventory issues is key
  • Provide support & assistance to other departments who may need to interact with Parts (Sales, Service, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Effective communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year managing Parts Department and personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude
