Job Title: Parts Associate

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: New Haven

Industry: Forklift Sales & Service

Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable Parts Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background-such as a former automotive technician-who is comfortable with parts lookup systems and enjoys supporting clients primarily via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately identify and source parts for forklifts and related equipment.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
• Respond to inquiries via phone and email; minimal in-person customer interaction.
• Maintain organized records of parts inventory and orders.
• Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to ensure timely parts delivery.
• Pivot quickly between tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with parts lookup system.
• Strong mechanical knowledge; experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, especially over phone and email.
• Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in forklift or heavy equipment parts.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
