Job Description

Our client, a growing and well-established organization, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for managing a weekly payroll cycle for approximately 1,500 hourly and salaried employees and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multi-state operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Process weekly payroll using ADP and UKG systems
• 
  Reconcile payroll reports and maintain accurate records
• 
  Ensure proper deductions for benefits, insurance, and garnishments
• 
  Create ad-hoc wage and management reports, including workers' compensation information
• 
  Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s
• 
  Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and escalated issues
• 
  Partner with HR and Finance teams on reporting, analysis, and special projects

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
• 
  Proven experience processing payroll using ADP and UKG
• 
  Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• 
  Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• 
  Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
